Mr. Asif Mehrudeen is the General Manager of D1 concepts & Development – an Australian professional chef of over 20 years around the world.
Asif has worked in leading brands such as Park Hyatt Goa, Park Hyatt Saigon, Kudeta Bali – a famous renowned beach club, and other reputable freestanding restaurants. He was also fortunate to travel and cook throughout Japan, Italy and Greece. At that time, he created three kinds of concepts of restaurant in Vietnam.Sorae is a dining and entertainment concept like no other. We create an ultra-chic elegant environment with a Tokyo twist for the most stylish and sophisticated people in the city to meet, eat and relax. Another restaurant is San Fu Lou – Cantonese Kitchen which has two outlets now and will be expanded in future. A new-excited Vietnamese restaurant concept is also represented soon in Ho Chi Minh city.
Chef Danny Yong is from Malaysia, he had lived and worked mostly in Singapore, where he began his career in 1999. Singapore was a great environment for Danny to start his professional Japanese culinary career. With the experience of working for 15 restaurants, he had gained knowledge base of large Japanese cuisine as it is now. Danny Yong skills are inspired by the Japanese restaurant where he worked previously as chef and assistant chef. His career started to blossom since then, which pushed up his passion. He is a creative chefs and always looking to improve his skills.
